The Middle School students looked at Islamic tiles, a rose window, and other examples of radial symmetry. With these in mind they started name designs that will serve to beautify the halls and identify their lockers.

2/3s Work on Observational Drawing

Drawing from life

The 2/3s year has begun with some close observational drawings of bugs (plastic replicas) and plants. These will be put together into pictures of Bug Jars.

K/1s Drawing Lines and Shapes

Concentrating on those shapes

The K/1s began this year thinking about different kinds of lines and how they can make different shapes. We read the Color Zoo, and they drew various shapes and turned them into animals.
